Volunteer with Us

Our dedicated team of volunteers are the driving force behind our lovely community café. They bring a wealth of skills, life experience and enthusiasm to help us to continue to fight food waste and provide a welcoming space in the heart of Lincoln.

Our volunteers work throughout the week when we are open to the public as well as on a Tuesday morning to help take in our Fareshare delivery to replenish our stock.

There are various volunteering roles with us at Mint Lane Café, so whether you fancy getting stuck into the kitchen prep, want to get your hands in the sink with the washing up, want to help serve our customers at the till or maybe help us out with a fabulously creative workshop to bring more customers into the café.. There’s something to suit everyone!

We are currently supporting various post 16 work experience placements and are happy to discuss opportunities with other students who might be interested in developing their confidence in a community hospitality environment.
